Coming Together

Harari Heritage Association is an organization of Ethiopian Hararis in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area unified to promote and strengthen our culture through a network of community leaders, gatherings, training events and resources. We are united to promote Harari culture and values by providing community, cultural, recreational, and social programs. Through our efforts, we are committed to raising awareness about Harari culture within and outside our local community to make a positive difference in the community. We are dedicated to fostering community spirit by creating a place for family and friends to come together.

To enable this to happen, there are people and cross-generational teams throughout our area pushing this common vision. All this requires commitment, investment, time, and application of each of our varied knowledge and skills.
